the song "Number one with a bullet" has grown on me... Newlydeads never seemed to end, only the name changed back to Faster Pussycat, when I have caught them since, they do play all the old stuff, the way it was origianlly recorded, I thought the one straight rock song on the remix CD "valley of the ultra..." Blood - was great, and like most people I am hoping this CD goes in a more Rock N Roll direction, either way I still support Tamie, Almost 20 years of Faster Pussyact !!!

I like Faster Pussycat, I thought all their cds were good. I dont think Whipped sounded industrial at all. I just think it was a great cd. I think the first Newlydeads cd is really great. I just think Taime should have kept going with The Newlydeads. Maybe running his club got in the way. i dont know.
But I think Faster Pussycat is only Faster Pussycat with the original band. Taime, Greg, Brent, Eric and Mark or Brett. I think it would be cool if the original band got back together. Thats what Faster Pussycat is.
Is Brent even on the new cd?
That new guitar player Xristian- is so lame. How do you compare him to Greg?
Taime is a very talented musician though. Personally I liked his look around "whipped" He looks good without the "spooky" makeup.

also I just found out "Whipped" has been re-released by a division of Rhino/Electra records, no more digging through the used bins !!!

Someone needs to tell Taime that the whole Marilyn Manson look is so yesterday. To me it's not who he really is...he just took a ride on a bandwagon.

IMHO - sorry, this is a beer-fueled rant

It's not about being the next big thing or breaking the mould - you have a solid fan base and by re-inventing yourself you end up alienating portions of your fanbase. The most respect I have ever seen a band receive was Skid Row at docklands arena in 1992 when they played well over curfew, ran out of their own material and started playing Metallica and Clash covers! The crowd loved it! By all means create but don't rock the boat too much - if I want to listen to NIN I'll listen to NIN, if I want to listen to sleaze I'll listen to Pussycat or Poison.

Raggz - I pretty much agree with you mate

Sorry for that - I'll crawl back into my hole now

Yep with each album they seemed to get worse. Not keen on the Industrial type stuff.
